Some more playing with water yesterday. Thoughts of color... need to increase still. The shadows of underwater rocks in the previous one really helped give it depth. This pool is a bit less interesting without that.
I do quite like how the deep greenery of the canyon has turned out.
Also acrylic on canvas panel, but this one is 8"x10".

The mighty White River
I have been working a few days over months on what I'll probably call "The Source" as it is start of one great fork of the White River, but I seemed to just look upon the space for the water and not quite want to fill it in. I finally did, but did not much like the result. I grabbed a small panel to try out a piece of the water. The first... became a bit of mud.
So I stepped back and thought about it a little longer and tried again.
It certainly makes me a bit happier. The colors together seem odd, though. They are accurate enough, but not exactly believable. I really do need to think a lot more about color.
(These are acrylic on 7"x5" canvas panel from 12 March 2017.)
